Shopping at Work

Well as you can tell since I am blogging that I have nothing to do at work. Lets just say for the past 4 hours have been online shopping, all looking no buying. I did find some very cute clothes that I want. Cant wait till Spring Break when I go home!! Here are some of the things I found.

Ok I love this engagement ring! Its a Tacori ring and I told Clark that I want this type of ring!

But I also love this one. Its more plain jane but that way you just see the big diamond on your hand!

But I have decided I need to stop looking at rings because which ever one Clark gets me I know I will love. He is really good at picking out jewelry!

I found a long dress at Express. If you have never tried one on you should, they are really comfortable and they can go dressy or casual.

So my mom bought me these shoes. These are my favorite type of sandals. They are like flip flops but they dont slide off and you can get them in any color, with many differnt styles. Also they can be very comfortable.

Survey From the Sister

1. How did you and your hubby meet?

Well Clark isn't my hubby yet but hopefully soon he will be ;) We meet my freshman year and his junior year of college. I had just recently joined a sorority, while Clark was the president of his fraternity. It was homecoming and our sorority and fraternity were paired up to build a float for the parade. I meet a bunch of the guys and became really good friends with them. At this time I started dating a loser, while Clark had girlfriend. We were introduced by my best friend cause her GrandBig (sorority big/lil thing) was Clark's girlfriend. Well I always had a crush on him but never said anything till one day out of the blue Clark texts me telling me he likes me and wants to date and see if it works out. So from there its history. I fell madly in love with him just after a couple of weeks of dating him. Everyone always says "you just know" when he is the right guy. Trust me I know because everyday I tell myself I am going to marry that man. He is my best friend and my life and without him my heart would not be complete.

2. If you could do any job in the world, what would it be?

Right now I am still in college working towards that job that I want, which is being a Kindergarten teacher. I absolutely LOVE kids. I worked with kids for two years then decided to take a break and work in a different setting. Now I work in an office and have been enjoying it. But today I realized as I got to go watch first graders during PE how much I miss being with kids. I can take the office job, but I am much more of a person to always be up and moving. Little kids just make your day better because all they want is to make you happy. So right now I just want to teach!

3. What are you and your hubby's dreams for the future?

Even though Clark and I aren't married, we have talked about our future. We both know that we are not going to get married till we are both out of school. He graduates this year but will be going to grad school for 2 more and I also have 2 more years. After that we want to get married and just start our lives. We have talked about living in Frisco cause its inbetween both of our hometowns, kinda. Its close to Dallas where hopefully he will get a CPA job abd I want to teach in the Frisco surrounding area. Ha the kid discussion, we have made a deal. We will have two kids and if they are both different sex we will have another (cause I want three), but if they are the same sex we wont have another (cause he wants two). The reason why we wont have another if they are the same sex is cause we dont want to end up with three of the same sex. I would like a mixture, but hey you never know. Other than that we just want to be happy.

4. Why did you start blogging

I started blogging cause my sister wanted me too. Since we dont live close this is another way to keep up with each others lives. Once I started, I really enjoyed looking at other peoples that I havent talked to in awhile and read theirs to know what is going on in their lives.

5. Who do you look up to? Who is your inspiration?

Just like my sisters, I look up to my father. He is the strongest man I know. Ever since I can remember he has done everything in his power to provide for his family. Growing up I was stubborn and still kinda am lol, but I never really knew how much he did for me. Now that I no longer live at home I see a lot of things Icouldnt see when I was living at home. He has heart of love and mind of knowledge and is man of faith. I have never known anybody in my entire life who has more faith than my father does. Through the hardest times he can still stand with two feet on the ground cause he has faith in the Lord.

Shop till you Drop

Well in my last blog I mentioned my mom and grandmother were coming into town. I love when my mom comes cause I get to go shopping!!! Being a poor college student I dont get to do much of that. Friday afternoon we went to the mall and I got some really cute pants from Gap & Express. That night my mom, grandma, clark, and I went and ate at Garcias. Its a really good mexican food resturant. If you ever come to Lubbock you will have to eat there. Saturday was a mother daughter brunch with a fashion show and many goodies. That afternoon we hit up a really cute shop called J. Hoffmans. Definitely very fashion forward. I got a dress for the three weddings I have between now and May. I love shopping because it makes me happy and I cant wait to wear my new clothes!

Last night Clark and I decided to go rent movies instead of going out. Clark loves movies especially ones that are the Blockbuster Exclusives. We picked one called Jar City. We get home and decide to wath it first. As it begins we realize it is in Icelandic, so we got to read subtitles the whole night. It was real fun cause clark cant see far away without his glasses so I got to read the subtitles to him! It was a good movie though. Its about a murder case and how the police have to dig up old files to solve this one. If you like foreign movies you should watch it.

All Grown Up

Well its finally friday...thank God! This has been a very looong week. I started work and have worked everyday. I know to most of you are probably saying shut up and stop complaining cause I work everyday. Well I havent worked since the summer and I have never worked everyday and gone to school at the same time. I am worn out! I am very excited though because my mom and grandma are coming into town. This weekend it my sorority's family weekend. It's really supposed to be for both parents but there isnt much for the dads to do, so my mom bring the grandma's along. They love it! Im excited cause I'll get to go shopping and all that fun stuff.

Oh and Chance turned 1 years old on Tuesday. My baby is growing up. He cracks me up because everytime a phone rings or music plays he sings along with his howling. I'll have to video tap it sometime.

A Dozen Pink Roses

So this week has been pretty crazy. Tuesday I had to go to the dentist again because my jaw had been hurting for about a week and I wanted to know what was wrong with me. Turns out I just clinch and grind my teeth at night when im stressed. The dentist recommended a night guard...haha it makes you feel like a football player. Lets just say I wore that for only one night. Then Wednesday rolled around and lets just say that was a day full or drama. It was good at first cause in my art class i got to make a vase on the clay wheel. It was so much fun and I want to try it again. But when I got home, it all started. See I was supposed to live in a house next year and it was perfect!! But one of my roommates back out and now I dont know what to do...I kinda caught in the middle. Then Thursday was better and that night I got a dozen pink roses from the best boyfriend in the world!! He surprised me at my door with them. I LOVE HIM!! We watched the Greys/Private Practive cross over. It was pretty good, but Addison and Mcdreamy didnt kiss liked they showed. This weekend should be pretty fun, hoping to just take it easy with Clark. I am making him breakfast in the morning, that should be interesting!

Oh yeah I got that job!! YAY :)

House Hunting

So I haven't written in awhile, lets just say im that younger generation that is still addicted to Facebook. If that was invented I dont know how I would be nosey in other peoples lives. Ok well anyways its finally the weekend. My week had been pretty boring. Clark had two test and had to get ready for a regional conference for his fraternity so he was pretty busy. But I did help make the name tags!! Friday morning I had an interview with Quality Service & Professional Development. They are apart of Texas Tech. Lets just say this was my very first interview and I was very nervous. I think the interview went good but I did ramble a little to much. I hope I get the job though. It looks like it would be fun and beneficial. We'll find out next week though! After that Emilie and I (my best friend/roommated now/and roommate next year) ran some errands. Well while we were out we decided to look at the houses we found on the internet. Needless to say we ended up driving from 20th street to 38th street looking at all the houses for rent. I think we spent a good 3 hours driving. We found some really cute houses though. So now we gotta call all the realtors to find out prices and stuff. Im really excited about getting a house. We'll get to decorate the way we want it and dont have to worry about crazy girls banging on our walls to tell us to be quiet. We already have a kitchen table and its adorable. Em got it from Pier 1. Its green and yellow!! Oh and another odd think I did was spend $20 on valentine's cards for my family. I have never in my life spent that much on cards!!
So last night I brought Chance to my apartment to hang out cause Clark was with his dad doing regional stuff. Well our friend Melina brought over her dog too, she is a little terrier that weighs less than chance. So they sniffed each other and what not but the funny thing was she beat chance's butt. It was so funny to watch them play cause she would growl and bark and him and he would run scared under the table lol. I am a little sad my baby is a weeny! Although Chance will be one on Feb. 17. I still remember as a puppy :( Anyways so today im just hanging out and takin care of Chance. Cant wait till tomorrow to have my boyfriend back! :)

Where Classy Meets Fratty

So I have recently fallin in love with Dave Barnes and Matt Wertz music. All there songs are about love and if you just listen to them it makes you want to be with the person you love. I pretty much have them on repeat on itunes all day lol!

Ok so off that, my weekend has been pretty eventful. Friday night Clark and I went to a Rush Party for his fraternity, lets just say that was pretty interesting. But that night I got to play with an 8 month old boxer and a pit bull and they were best friends! They reminded me of Bobo and Gus when they got along. After that we just went home at midnight, I think we are becoming old fogies. Saturday was nice, I went and ran errands and finally tanned. No more ghost!! Then I forgot never to go to the Lubbock mall on a Saturday....horrible! That night Clark's fraternity had their bid day party called Delta Chi on the Rocks. This is where classy meets fratty. All the guys looked nice all dressed up but some of those girls...I wonder what they think when they get dressed! lol

YAY today is the Super Bowl. GO CARDINALS!!!!
