My life summed up in pictures!

I haven't updated in a long time and to much has happened between then and now, so I am going to sum it all up with some pictures!

YAY Clark graduated!! It was a very good day and weekend. My mom and his family came to Lubbock. I am very proud of him :)

Also that weekend we got to celebrate Ed (Clark's dad) 50th birthday!


The next week Clark went out of town a few times for office visits at accounting firms. One night when I took Clark to the airport, we left Chance out of his kennel. Lets just say he will never be left out of the kennel alone again. This is only part of the damage!


The next weekend, one of Clark's best friends from high school got married. We flew to Houston and the wedding was gorgeous! Lets just say I'm a little jealous...but very happy for them!

Daves beach house

FINALLY we got to take a vacation to Clark's beach house in Galveston. The water was to cold and weather wasn't perfect but it was very relaxing. The last two pictures are some of the houses along the shore that were damaged from hurricane Ike. A lot of the houses directly on the beach were pretty torn up and once the tide touched the house, they became Galveston property and some of the houses were well over a million dollars.

Now we are back in Lubbock just working. I start summer school this week. I'm not to excited but at least that's anther class out of the way. I also get to go home this weekend...yay! I haven't been home since spring break. Way to long for me!! Hope everyone has a great Memorial Day!

P.S. The new season of Jon & Kate Plus 8 comes on tonight. SO EXCITED!!! The previews look good and they confront each other. Maybe this will set all the rumors straight. Its on TLC @ 8 for an hour!!!

Happy Mother's Day

So yesterday was Mother's Day and I actually got to spend time with my mom. This past weekend she came to Lubbock for Clark's graduation (I'll blog on that later). I was so happy she came because I hadn't seen her since Spring Break in early March. She stayed with me at my apartment and it was fun. Saturday we made breakfast then went shopping. I miss my shopping days with her. But very soon I will have them back. You never know how much you miss your mom or parents till you move away. My mom is my best friend. Ever since high school I saw her everyday. She worked at high school I went too. Most kids would hate that, but I actually loved it. Except for her getting me out of class and trouble, I was able to go to her when I needed her. She has always been there for me no matter what. Whats really scary is that everyday I see myself doing things like she does, but who wouldn't want to be like my mom.? She has the biggest heart for her kids and would give anything just to make us happy. I hope that one day I am at least half of the mom that she is.
