So Long Tech!

So it is finally here...I'M MOVING HOME!! We'll actually on Saturday, but only 2 more days. My summer school class is over tomorrow....thank goodness!! Then Saturday afternoon when my parents get here we are loading me up and heading back to good ole Denton. I am so excited cause I have been in Lubbock for the past 3 weeks all by myself. Clark took his job again back at Fossil so he left in the beginning of June. Now I get to be with my family and Clark!!

I start summer session II in July at TWU. That will be my first class there, I hope it goes well. I'm a little sad that I am leaving Tech. I will miss the spirit and friends, but I will be back plenty of times to visit. I'm still a Red Raider at heart though!!!

On a side note...Clark's family and my family are going through a rough time right now. Please pray for my grandmother. Yesterday they found out she has a stomach aneurysm. She went to the doctor again today for medication to hopefully kill it and to monitor her for several weeks. Lets just pray that it doesn't burst before they take it out.

Also please pray for Clark's Aunt Terri. She was rushed to the hospital yesterday with bleeding in her brain. They believe it was from high blood pressure. They have ruled out most of the bad stuff and seems to be doing better.

Both of these ladies are strong women that need your prayers!!

Some much needed family time!

This weekend I went home for the first time in two months to see my family. I was very excited but sad because Clark didn't go with me. My family already includes him as part of the family! I decided to take Chance with me, he was not a happy boy having to ride in the car for 5 hours. But when he got there he forgot all about it. Gus and Chance LOVE to play non stop. Sometimes it gets a little annoying. I think Chance had a good weekend.

Friday evening my dad, mom, Lindsey, Dustin and I went and ate at Rooster's. (My parents favorite place). Then we went and walked around Doggie Days. Its an event Denton puts on every year where you can bring your dog and shop at little doggie booths. We didn't take our dogs but saw some really pretty ones while we were there. Later that night I got to meet up with some friends I hadn't seen in awhile. I met Hannah and Ashley at a coffee shop and we sat for about 3 hours just chit chatting. It was good seeing them again.

Saturday I ran some errands with my mom, then that night Lindsey had the whole family over for my dad and grandfather's birthday. It was good to see everyone. My baby cousin Brayden is almost one and is trying to walk. He is adorable. Sunday was church with the family then a quick lunch. I had to get back to Lubbock to study for a test I had today. When we got home Chance was very happy to see daddy and glad to be out of the car. Lets just say our next trip will be moving home for good...YAY!!
